Trail`s End Restaurant in Sweet Valley

The food was excellent and the hostess was very friendly. Highly recommend the spring chicken and the steak hoagie.

Poor service, weak coffee, cold potatoes, warm salad. The waitress never asked how we wanted our steak cooked or informed us that our entire seafood combo was prefabricated beaded factory fish(nor did the menu state this). The coleslaw was good. I won't come back

Decent food, awesome prices, friendly service. Handled my food allergy just fine. I'd go back; there's not much competition in the immediate area, and the place just up the road was much more expensive for similar fare, and terribly hot in the dining area. This one was definitely the better choice.

Best place to eat in this area. Good home cooked meals. Daily specials and friendly staff. Was working near here for 5 months. Ate here numerous times.

The Trail’s End Restaurant is “conveniently located in the middle of nowhere”. I went in for breakfast at 7:30 am and was greeted by the waitress and shown to a table. Coffee showed up by the time I opened the menu and though I tried to empty that cup I just couldn’t do it. The menu is just what you’d expect from a small country restaurant. My scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries were done to perfection and very tasty. I would certainly breakfast there again.

I'm not sure why this place got such great reviews. Perhaps I simply ordered the wrong selection on my one visit with my wife. The place was clean, the service friendly and prompt, and the prices very reasonable. My wife ordered the honey roasted chicken and said it was quite good. In retrospect I should have also ordered it but instead I chose the spaghetti and veal parm dinner which was a big mistake. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever had a worse veal parm dinner. The spaghetti was limp and severely overcooked, the sauce tasted like Ragu out of a jar and the veal was almost like a veal patty, fried, overcooked and simply inedible. If I ever come back, which is doubtful, I'll order the chicken.

Their Alaskan Pollack all you can eat fish fry on Friday is the best. I only ever get one serving and take half home. Delicious home cooking and great service.

Great tasting food and friendly service. Every Friday they have an all you can eat fish fry for $9.95. The fish is incredible and you also get to pick 2 sides included in the price from a list of about 15 options. I got mashed sweet potatoes and New England clam chowder and everything was delicious!
